At the heart of White Mountain Peak Performance is founder CJ Best, a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) and seasoned strength coach with over a decade of experience helping people recover, rebuild, and return to peak performance.
CJ brings a unique perspective to bodywork—rooted in his background in sports performance and corrective exercise. His approach doesn’t just focus on relieving pain—it’s about understanding the body as an entire movement system, correcting dysfunction, and helping you bridge the gap between rehab and athletic potential.

From Pain to Performance
While working at one of New Hampshire’s premier sports medicine clinics, CJ was involved in implementing corrective exercise programs prescribed by the doctors on staff. This experience sparked his interest in understanding the underlying movement issues that contributed to his clients’ discomfort. That curiosity ultimately shaped the specialized niche he is passionate about today.
“I love teaching people how to avoid creating pain, move better, and develop a strong foundation on which to build performance and capacity.”
This philosophy laid the ground work for White Mountain Peak Performance: a place where bodywork and movement-based programming aren’t separate—they’re combined to create real, lasting results.
